Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his red hot form in front of goal for his country on Thursday, which has resulted in some Arsenal fans labelling him as the best striker in the world.
The 30-year-old converted from the spot six minutes from time to give Gabon a 1-0 victory against Burkina Faso, taking his tally to nine goals in 11 games for club and country in the process.
Arsenal shared the news of Aubameyang’s late effort on Twitter, which led to these Gunners fans praising the forward, with many making the bold best in the world claim.

Aubameyang is likely to feature for his country again on Tuesday against Morocco in another international friendly, and everyone associated with the Gunners will be praying he doesn’t pick up a knock before his return to north London.
The forward has won the Gunners 12 points with his goals already this season, with David Luiz’s strike against Bournemouth prior to the international break the first time in the league that Unai Emery hasn’t had to rely on Aubameyang’s brilliance.
He’s certainly a strong contender to be thought of as the best striker in the world at this moment in time, and he’s also on course to better his 22 Premier League strikes from last season.
IS AUBAMEYANG THE BEST STRIKER IN THE WORLD?
