Arsenal manager Unai Emery has spoken about the need for his team to close the gap on the top two Premier League teams namely Manchester City and Liverpool.
The Spanish tactician talked about closing the gap on the aforementioned teams ahead of the Premier League clash with Watford at the weekend.
According to him, Arsenal have to ensure that the new players adapt well into the team before adding that the balance between offensive and defensive must be maintained.
Unai Emery said Arsenal concentrated more on the offensive during the first four games of the new Premier League season at the expense of the defensive side of the game.
Arsenal ended the first four games with the same number of goals scored and the same number of goals conceded (6).
The Gunners are in fifth place on the Premier League table after recording seven points from four games.
They are five points off the summit currently occupied by Liverpool and also three points off second place presently held by Premier League champions Manchester City.
Unai Emery and Arsenal have a lot of work to do to catch up with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
